With a privileged location, the Mercado San Felipe Neri (MSFN) connects a Balboa Avenue of skyscrapers with the old colonial neighborhoods of San Felipe and Santa
Ana, today in the midst of gentrification. Since its renovation and reopening in January 2021, the San Felipe Neri Market has shown great potential for development, with a diverse product offering, from meat, vegetables, and handicrafts to ready-to-eat food dishes, it is a medium-sized generator of solid waste producing 6.8 tons per month, of which it is estimated that at least 84% is organic.
